You will be picked up early from your hotel in Cusco for a journey of about 1 hour and 30 minutes in a private vehicle to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Here, you’ll board a train that travels through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, taking you from the Andes to the lush surroundings of Aguas Calientes. This scenic train ride lasts approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Upon arrival in this charming town, a representative will be there to assist you in boarding the bus to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary, which takes about 25 minutes.

Once we reach the historic sanctuary, your adventure begins. Take a moment to recharge, spread your arms, and immerse yourself in the magic of this ancient site. You’ll have the opportunity to wander through the remarkable remnants of Inca history, architecture, and engineering—a moment you’ve been looking forward to.

After this memorable experience, a guided tour lasting 2 to 3 hours will allow you to delve deeper into this incredible location. Please be aware that visiting hours are currently limited. Inside Machu Picchu, you’ll discover various areas, learn about the settlement’s layout, and uncover fascinating facts about its self-sustainability despite its remote location.

Following the tour, we’ll return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time to enjoy lunch and explore the town, filled with restaurants and artisan shops. We’ll then board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where a representative will be waiting for you with a sign featuring your name. Finally, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco, completing this amazing day trip to Machu Picchu.
