ITINERARY

Cusco — Sacred Valley — Pisac — Ollantaytambo — Aguas Calientes.

The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Huayna Picchu tour begins at 7:00 AM with a hotel pickup and a journey to the Sacred Valley, known for its pleasant climate and breathtaking landscapes. The first stop is the Pisac Archaeological Park, part of the ancient Qhapaq Ñan trail, where you can admire the impressive Inca craftsmanship. After exploring Pisac and its famous artisan market, you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Ollantaytambo fortress, a strategic military, agricultural, and religious site of the Incas, before boarding a train to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay.

 Machu Picchu – Huayna Picchu — Cusco

This tour is highly recommended and includes two entrance tickets: one for Circuit 1 or 2 and another for Circuit 3 + Huayna Picchu. Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station for a 25-minute ride to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary. Once there, we will explore Circuit 1 or 2, offering a guided tour through the agricultural and urban areas of Machu Picchu, including plazas, temples, stairways, terraces, and more. This portion of the tour lasts 2 to 3 hours and includes the chance to capture the iconic photo of Machu Picchu.

After the tour of Machu Picchu, we will begin the 1.5-hour hike up Huayna Picchu, where you’ll experience incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the Urubamba River. The final section of the trail, known for its steep and narrow steps, leads to the summit, offering breathtaking scenery and ample time for photos. Following the descent, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and later take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will take you to your hotel in Cusco.

IMPORTANT: Huayna Picchu Mountain has a daily visitor limit of 400, so booking two months in advance is recommended.
